These small intimate acoustic performances have been placed across all boroughs of the city and will take place from 22. - 26. August. We have gathered 40 artists, which have been put into 20 small musical groups. Each team has curated its individual creative 15 minute program, which will be performed at each of their moments across the day.

After a wonderful start to our 100 Opera Moments allowing for our performances in bright sunshine for over 1000 people, we look forward to making sure that the city, the people of Copenhagen - and maybe even you – can experience an opera moment on this Sunday.
Just like that, we have reached the third day of our 100 Opera Moments for Copenhagen. The weekend offered both blazing sunshine and torrential rain, where we luckily still performed opera moments for over 2000 people around the city. We are looking forward to getting the week off to a good start with small moments of live music and beautiful songs. Today, you might be lucky enough to experience an opera moment somewhere around Copenhagen.
Today, we have reached the fourth day on our mission to bring 100 Opera Moments to Copenhagen. During the last three days, we have visited most parts of the city, including Frederiksberg. Our participating artists have been thrilled to meet happy and engaged audiences, who are involved in the creation of some truly magical moments in the most wonderful surroundings. Today, we continue our adventure and hope you might also have the opportunity to experience an opera moment at one of our stops around the city.
Time flies as we reach the fifth and final day of our 100 Opera Moments. Over the past few days, we experienced a wonderful dialogue with the many attentive recipients of our pop up moments and has been an incredibly rewarding experience for everyone involved. In four days, our dedicated artists have performed for more than 4000 people in Copenhagen and if everything goes according to plan, we will end our magical response to COVID-19 with our 100th opera moment early this evening.
When Corona hit the big pause button of our cultural offerings, it became the mission of Copenhagen Opera Festival not to let 2020 pass by without finding a manner in which to ensure that opera reached the public in its original form; live and in front of an audience.
