Every year, the Festival Stage at Den Røde Plads in Nørrebro brings thousands of people together for free opera experiences under the open sky
The Festival Stage has become a central gathering point, presenting a wide range of experiences, from communal sing-alongs and large-scale concert evenings to performances by emerging opera talents. Summer evenings shaped by music, atmosphere and a shared sense of community in the heart of the city.
Some stop by on their way home, while others plan their entire festival day around the stage. The programme is created for both first-time visitors and dedicated opera audiences alike.
