Open call for singers
We are busy preparing for the Copenhagen Opera Festival 2026, and as always we are looking for fantastic singers for our many formats and productions. That is why we are announcing an open call.
Our auditions will take place on Thursday 27th of November from 10.00-16.00 and Friday the 28th of November from 10.00-15.00 in Copenhagen, where Danish and international opera companies / festivals and a few agencies also are invited to sit in.
Are you a singer - and do you want to attend?
Send an email before Monday 3rd of November at 12.00 to Frederik Støvring Olsen at audition@operafestival.dk with the following info:
– a PDF version of your CV
– attach audio/video if you have.
– state your voice type
– state if you are a singing student and where you study
– confirm that you are available both days or not
On 12th of November, you will be notified whether you have been given an audition time on one of the two audition dates or not.
Notice: Unfortunately our capacity is limited and you do not have an audition slot before you receive a confirmation from us.
Copenhagen Opera Festival will take place on 14-23 August 2026.
