Join us on a musical Viking voyage through the canals of Copenhagen, as Harald and Hans Danske set sail with the Showbåden to defend Denmark! Armed with gems from Verdi, Händel, Britten and The Beatles among treasures of Danish Songs, the two Vikings will try to keep the ship steady in the water while storms rage on the horizon.

When the need is greatest, legend says that Holger Danske will awaken and save the nation. But... where is he? Hans and Harald Danske – Holger's totally overlooked brothers – embark on an epic journey to wake Holger, only to discover that the answer may lie in something much stronger than swords and war: song, community, and nostalgia.

The course for Showbåden 2025 is set by baritone Mads Skovgaard Andersen and tenor Alex Friis Nielsen, who have also written the show in collaboration with director Anders Aamodt, in an exhilarating combination of satire, adventure, and a string of well-known melodies from opera, pop, musical theater, and the treasures of Danish Songs.
