After a wonderful start to our 100 Opera Moments (100 opera-øjeblikke), allowing for our performances in bright sunshine for over 1000 people, we look forward to making sure that the city, the people of Copenhagen - and maybe even you - can experience an opera moment on this Sunday.
Today, Sunday, you can find our opera moments at BLOX (between 11-13), Apollo Bar (between 12-13), KU.BE (between 12-13), Tivoli (between 13-14) and at DGI Byens Hotel (between 14-15). We pass a skate track at Flintholm and perform at a round birthday in Sydhavn. We will pop up at a traditional bathhouse and get to surprise a woman at a senior residential community.
Today, you may be lucky enough to experience Line Juul Andersen, David Kempster and James Sherlock. Sibylle Glosted, Frederik Rolin and Yngvild Ruud with Johanne Holten as director and Malaika Friedrich-Patoine as costume designer. The International Children's Choir with choir leader, Siobhan Lamb and Dominic Wizjan, David Kragh Danvig and Jónas Ásgeir Ásgeirsson and finally, Cecilia Hjortsberg, Johanne Bock and Angelika Wagner,
Follow Copenhagen Opera Festival's Facebook page and Instagram profile for photos and videos from the day, as well as more specific event info from the venues that have chosen to make their opera moments available to all visitors.
On Sunday August 23 , 100 Opera Moments will visit Amager, Bellahøj, Christianshavn, Frederiksberg, Islands Brygge, København K, Nordvest, Nørrebro, Sydhavn, Valby, Vanløse and Vesterbro.
