This years Festival Stage will be at Den Røde Plads, Nørrebro

It is with such pride and joy that we can announce a Festival Stage in 2021, which will be the heart beat and host of many of our free events this summer.

Our festival stage is here for you to enjoy Opera in all its forms - ranging from the epic to the intimate! And to safely gather with loved ones and friends to share some truly extraordinary experiences.  Whether you are an Opera aficionado or a newcomer to Opera, all are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

The program features both a newly written opera fairy tale for the entire family over three H.C. Andersen's fairy tale, a masterclass concert with seven hand-picked singing talents, a concert with 60 children from Goldschmidt Music Academy, the circus opera Pagliacci by Søholm Opera, recital with Simone Victor and Ulrich Stærk – and the opening concert Viva Verismo! with Tivoli Copenhagen Phil and three international opera soloists Yana Kleyn, Peter Lodahl and David Kempster.
